Ingredients
Method
For Dough:
- In a bowl, take 1/4 cup of lukewarm water, add sugar and dry active yeast, keep it for 10 minutes to activate yeast.
- When yeast froth up well, add all purpose flour, milk powder, salt and butter. Mix all ingredients well. Now add lukewarm water and knead the dough until it gets soft. Tuck dough, add some oil and cover the dough. Rest it for 1 hour and let it rise in a warm place until doubled.
Making Pizza:
- Punch dough and knead again for a minute. Cut dough into two parts.
- Sprinkle some corn meal on rolling surface, take one portion of dough, flatten up and roll it in to circle.
- Place the dough on pan, prick it using fork.
- Now, apply pizza sauce evenly & spread mozzarella cheese all over the dough.
- Add veggie toppings capsicum, onions and olives. Add little cheese on veggies.
- Bake it on 200°C or 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Time may vary.
- Cut into pieces, and serve hot.
Notes
- You can use lukewarm milk instead of water to knead the dough, in that case avoid milk powder.
- Make sure to use good quality and unexpired yeast. If the yeast mixture doesn’t froth up, that means the yeast is not activated & do not proceed.
- You can use your favorite veggies for toppings.
- You can use Wheat flour instead of all purpose flour to make it little bit healthy.
