Method
- Heat a pan and add ghee, mango pulp, desiccated coconut, and milk powder. Stir continuously on medium flame until well combined.
- Cook the mixture until it begins to thicken.
- Sprinkle sugar into the pan. Continue cooking until the mixture becomes thick and starts leaving the sides.
- Mix in cardamom powder for flavor.
- Transfer the mixture into a bowl and allow it to cool completely.
To Shape the Modaks:
- Grease a modak mould and fill it with a portion of the cooled mixture. Close the mould tightly.
- Press gently and remove the excess mixture.
- Open the mould carefully to reveal the Mango Modak.
- Serve as an offering to Lord Ganesha and enjoy with family and friends.
Notes
- You can use mango pulp if fresh mangoes are not available.
- Use sugar quantity according to mango taste.
